Relief from burning and bumps after shaving.
My shower order goes like this: hair(leave in conditioner til after shaving), face, shave, body wash with loofah. With the regular Venus Embrace heads, I’d always get bumps on my legs or it’d burn when I go to wash my body. Now I don’t experience that burning in the shower nor do I experience the bumps on my legs hours after which last for weeks and look terrible.

Good razor, if pricey.
These nick me a lot less frequently than other blades while providing a solidly close shave. Just wish the bloody things didn’t dull so quickly, or at least that they didn’t cost quite so much. These tie with the Schick Intuition in terms of reduction in cuts, and narrowly beats it in terms of price.

Love this brand.
I've tried everything and this brand is THE best. I have rather sensitive skin on my legs... So much so that I use a steroid cream from a dermatologist on my legs. I have never had an issue with these blades and the fact that they have 5 blades makes it that much easier and more comfortable to shave with.

We love these razors
Both myself and my fiancé love these razors, that goes to say males and females can use them. We tried them out because we both have really sensitive skin, now we won’t use any other razors. They aren’t a bad price compared to other razors that mess our skin up. I doubt we will ever switch unless the price gets outrageous, which hopefully it doesn’t.

Nice price for good blades
Good price for a brand of razor refills that I already know I like. Be sure when you buy that you are getting the 5 blade kind. These are better than the 3 blade kind with less skin irritation. Worth it.

Excellent Shaving System
I was using Schick Quattro--had been for years--but with the last few purchases of blade replacements noticed that the blade quality was very poor (they seemed to be dull out of the box and actually hurt to shave with). For those that were not already dull, one or two shaves solved that problem. I went looking for another shaving system and tried the Venus Embrace based upon the reviews. Best shave ever. Seriously. Close, smooth, no razor burn, and no need to keep shaving over the same spot repeatedly. I do use a shaving cream with the blades (I tried the Gillette Satin Care--it was ok; I am now using Cremo). I have also used plain old ordinary Dove soap. The blades are a bit expensive, BUT you can probably get 10 shaves out of one cartridge. I usually change once a week and shave daily. When I change, the blades are not significantly dull. It's a keeper. Wish I had tried it sooner.

5 Rows of Blades or Nothing at All.
There is nothing quite like 5 rows of blades to give you a close, comfortable shave. It's so much better than the poor disposable ones from back in the day and I'm totally satisfied with it. The Embrace Sensitive is my favorite kind and I rarely ever get nicks and cuts now. My armpits don't burn after shaving, and it's like shaving in Heaven. This is an excellent razor from Gilette.

Always Venus
I've been using Venus wand and its blades for over 15 years (ever since I started shaving). I've tried other brands, but I always go back to Venus, and the Embrace blades are the best!
